All of a sudden , I came across WPWebHost and there I noticed the wordpress design awards being about to take place .Then I decided to take part in competition with shomalgan !

Time passed and today I realized that shomalgan has come into 10 finalist in the “Retro and Vintage” category and the winner’s gonna be elected by the votes of the visitors.

My first free icon set

While searching  the archive of my design files, I came across some icons I made by adobe illustrator. I thought it might be a good idea to put them to download here.

Their structure is very simple and this simplicity gives this possibility to extend and make a complete set them by any other requested icon.

Portfolio page and Nextgen gallery !

Finally the portfolio section of the weblog is available.
This section’s been set up using the “NextGEN Gallery“,  wordpress plugin and its new template feature which is explained how can be used by “Alex Rabe” in his own blog.

To get some ideas on the methods of createing such frames around images “ Web designer wall ” has produced some extensive and useful explanations that you can find here.

These three sample images show how my nextgen gallery template  is like!

And in the end I’d like to thank “Alex” and”Web Designer Wall” for making  web a more delightful , pleasant place.

Hello, This is my first post here in this blog.

This blog contains an abstract of the designs i’ve done in the area of web so far,daily writings and my other interests.

I think it’s proper to mention that the design of this website is mainly inspired by the pattern (shape) of the cup of Kai-Khosrow , a relic attributed to the ancient Persia ( Iran ) , Sassanid age .
